Why the Name?

So even though nobody follows this I would like to explain the name. “Peggy Sang the Blues” is a song by English singer-songwriter Frank Turner. I love his music in general but specifically the chorus to this song goes:

It doesn’t matter where you come from
It matters where you go
No one gets remembered
For the things they didn’t do

and though there are other words in this song that I very much like, that chorus sums up what I want this blog to be about, and though it will likely include art and stuff like that as well general thoughts I have about topics as they weigh on my mind I want this blog to be a journal of finding how to enjoy life fully and not just subscribing to the touristy ways we are “supposed to” enjoy life, but in the simple, inexpensive ways that are truly priceless. I want to show where I and the people around me are going, not regretting the things we didn’t do. This is kind of where this blog restarts, (tonight I changed its name and picture and tangling and all) much like many aspects of my life have in the last months… and unlike before, I would kind of like this to be something worth reading for others and to hear from other people, not just me adding noise like many other angry people with a blog. Life works better with people.

Here is to my coincidental lineup with the new year.
